Harry the Hirer Productions is looking for experienced LED Screen Technicians to join our Sydney Productions team.
We deliver technical production across major exhibitions, corporate events, sporting events, live entertainment and special events, with opportunities available for full-time, casual and freelance/contractor technicians.
We are interested in both strong LED build technicians and experienced operators who can configure, troubleshoot and run large-format LED systems in live production environments.
The Role
Depending on your experience, your work may include:
Preparing and testing LED equipment
Building and dismantling ground-supported and flown LED screens
Power, data and signal distribution
LED processing, mapping and system configuration
Operating LED systems during live events
Fault finding across panels, modules, receiving cards, power supplies and associated components
Maintaining and identifying equipment requiring repair or servicing
Reading screen layouts and production plans
Working alongside Project Managers, riggers and other technical departments
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for technicians with practical experience in professional LED systems within live events, touring, exhibitions, broadcast, venues or similar production environments.
Experience with any of the following will be highly regarded:
Novastar and Brompton LED processing platforms
LED mapping, calibration and system configuration
Resolume, Millumin and ProVideoPlayer (PVP) media playback platforms
Large-format indoor and outdoor LED systems
Video signal distribution and conversion
Video switching and camera systems
Live show operation
You will also need to be reliable, safety-focused, comfortable troubleshooting under pressure and flexible around production hours, including evenings, weekends and overnight work when required.

Australian Driver Licence
White Card
EWP
Forklift
Working at Heights
MR or HR licence
Electrical, electronics or related technical qualifications
