About the Role
Music Audio Engineer & Theatre Technician
St Aloysius’ College is seeking to appoint an outstanding Music Audio Engineer and Theatre Technician to join our dynamic and highly regarded Music Department.
Working closely with the Director of Music, this role supports the College’s music program and wider theatre productions, including live performance, recording, ensemble support, and student music tuition.
The successful candidate will bring strong technical audio expertise, combined with a passion for music and theatre production, contributing to major College events and an engaging student experience. You will play a key role in delivering rehearsals, performances, recordings, and productions, while also supporting the broader co-curricular program.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team and contribute to high-quality music and theatre production experiences for students, in keeping with the Jesuit tradition of the College.

Your Application
To be considered for this position, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate:
- Commitment to the mission of Catholic education of boys in the Jesuit tradition
- Outstanding training and/or experience in audio engineering for live performance and recording
- Appropriate training and/or experience in theatre performance and production, stagecraft, design and lighting
- Ability and willingness to contribute to the academic music and drama programs as required
- Outstanding teamwork, collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Ability to create a positive, supportive and highly engaging ensemble culture that meets the creative, social and emotional needs of all students
- Commitment to active participation in the pastoral and co-curricular programs of the College
- Possess or be willing to obtain a valid Working with Children Check.
