coolux GmbH, creators of the Pandoras Box family of products, have announced the release of Version 3.0 of their interface construction tool, Widget Designer.
The freeware Widget Designer STD allows the creation of custom user-interfaces. The Widget Designer PRO is designed as an advanced control surface creation framework and includes a large feature set for visual node based programming. With the embedded node programming environment, users can route and set up almost any possible show control scenario.
Version 3.0 makes it possible to create large scale multi-touch applications for multiple users, who are able to interact with the content. Scaling, rotating and moving HD video content can become an interactive experience. Other major highlights include: AirScan Multi-User Tracking, Motion Detection and Kinect Support.
The Widget Designer 3.0 is a companion tool for coolux Pandoras Box products, but can also be used as a standalone software solution.
