The Role

Are you an experienced Technician looking to work in Bendigo’s premier performing arts venues?

The team at Bendigo Venues and Events are seeking casual theatre technicians to support the setup and operation of live performances, functions and events across our venues, which include the Ulumbarra Theatre, The Capital and the Engine Room.

About You

You will be responsible for the staging, operation of equipment and bump in and bump out of performances. The role will require a willingness to work irregular days and hours, including nights and weekends. 

If you have similar experience, are keen to learn, have a passion for live performance, an interest in the performing arts industry and a commitment to great customer service, we’d love to hear from you.

We welcome applications from candidates aged 17 and over.

A satisfactory police records check, and Working with Children Check is required for this position. Tickets and licences in Elevated Work Platform, Test & Tag, White Card, Rigging, Working at Heights or other high-risk work licences will be highly regarded.
