The Music Box has recently added a flagship d&b audiotechnik KSL system to their inventory, comprising of twelve KSL 8 and four KSL 12 3-way line array loudspeaker elements, four flyable KSL subs, and eight SL subs.
The system has been packaged for easy scalability and can be split or expanded with additional elements from partner companies. d&b M4 wedges & Shure PSM1000 IEMs as a monitor package complete the system.
Sydney-based production company The Music Box was established by brothers Vic and Greg Leto in 1981. While the company initially began solely as an audio production house, time has seen the business adapt to the changing needs of its client base to now offering full turnkey production.
An extensive staging, lighting, and visual inventory now accompanies the comprehensive audio offering.
Speaker Hospital is their in-house service arm, offering maintenance for the fleet as well as offering third-party component level repairs.
In 2018 the firm established a Brisbane office and serves clients nationally.
Patrick Withers has been with The Music Box since 2009 and is now the General Manager. He’s excited about the new system and says “It was important that we could satisfy modern rider requests. With various console packages including Waves LV1 & Avid S6L, it was only logical we added a suitable PA to our inventory. It’s great to be able to offer a complete premium audio package to our clients.”
Ben ‘Cav’ Cavenagh joined the Music Box team in 2018 as the National Account and Operations Manager. Ben is loving the direction the company is going and says “We’ve always surrounded ourselves with the best crew and team members, it’s nice to be able to add a PA that matches the quality of our team.”
