Technician/Production Officers (Casual Expressions of Interest)

$49.25 per hour (4% increase in July) plus Super

An opportunity has become available within the Leisure and Culture Branch to work in a casual capacity at Don Russell Performing Arts Centre (DRPAC). DRPAC hosts over 100 shows/events per annum, with both in house productions and community hires. National tours and performances from leading professional companies feature regularly.

What we are looking for

Reporting to the Coordinator of Don Russell Performing Arts Centre, the City of Gosnells is seeking the services of qualified audio, lighting and staging technicians.

To be successful, applicants must be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience working with a range of technical equipment within a theatre environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to maintain positive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills. 

Don Russell Performing Arts Centre programs run seven days per week. In addition to weekdays, applicants must be available to work weekend and evening shifts, as required.   

Desirable requirements

  • EWP Yellow Card 
  • Test and Tag Licence

Essential requirements

  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Current driver’s licence
