About The Opportunity
You will also undertake maintenance activities within the venue in a timely and effective manner, adhere to WHS policy’s and procedures and work with the Work Health and Safety branch to implement relevant plans and documentation when required. This role will support the Technical Coordinator in collating and delivering reporting and evaluation data, and you will provide supervision and mentoring to the Theatre Technicians.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in technical theatre work, including lighting, sound desk, projection and stage management
- Qualifications in technical theatre or relevant trade qualifications are desirable
- Demonstrated experience providing supervision and leadership to staff
- Demonstrated competence using Windows desktop software applications
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively
- Demonstrated experience with a customer focused approach to people at all levels within the public and private sectors
- Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and workflows
- Ability to work independently or in a team in a professional and positive manner
- Ability to work flexible hours appropriate for the operation of the venues
