Service Manager

Technical Audio Group (TAG) is a leading professional and consumer audio importer and national wholesaler, representing globally recognised brands including Q-SYS, QSC, Audio-Technica, Allen & Heath and Martin Audio.

With offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth TAG has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality products backed by fast, reliable service and technical support.

We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead our service department and continue driving excellence in customer experience and operational performance.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the end-to-end management of our service operations.

You will lead a team of service technicians and administrators, ensuring efficient job flow, high-quality repairs, and exceptional customer communication.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the daily operations of the service department
  • Leading, supporting and developing a team of technicians and service staff
  • Overseeing service job flow, turnaround times, and KPIs
  • Acting as the key escalation point for customers and technical queries
  • Driving a strong customer-first culture
  • Coordinating with interstate service centres and suppliers
  • Ensuring accurate tracking of repairs, parts and service data
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements


About You

We are looking for someone who combines leadership, organisation and technical understanding.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in a service management, operations or senior coordinator role
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in service management or operations leadership
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising teams of at least 2-5 people
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • High level of organisation and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence working with systems, reporting and service workflows
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement


Experience in audio, electronics, AV, or technical service environments will be highly regarded.
