10 stages. 69 crew. 22 trucks. One impressive production effort.
Behind every major music festival is an enormous amount of planning, equipment and technical expertise.
At Gympie Music Muster 2026, IJS Productions delivered full production across 10 stages. They supplied audio, lighting, video, backline, staging, risers and barriers for one of Australia’s best-known country music festivals.
A Massive Production Effort

From the Hill Stage and Blues Stage to the Muster Club, Crow Bar and Rodeo, IJS Productions supported a diverse range of performance spaces across the festival.
The operation brought together 27 IJS technicians, 18 TAFE students and 24 load-in/load-out crew. In addition, 22 trucks transported equipment to and from the site.
With d&b speaker systems, LED screens, new lighting fixtures and control systems deployed throughout the event, the scale of the undertaking was impressive.
Above the Stage: Where Smart Rigging Makes a Difference
In large-scale live production, the right truss system can make a significant difference to setup times, transport efficiency and flexibility.
Global Truss Pre-Rig Truss is designed with rapid deployment in mind. Lighting fixtures can be pre-rigged and pre-cabled before arriving on site. This reduces repetitive setup and pack-down work. Its stackable transport system is designed around Australian truck pack dimensions. As a result, it helps maximise available transport space while reducing the need for separate lighting road cases.

For productions requiring greater structural capacity, Global Truss F44P Truss offers a heavy-duty 400mm square profile with 50mm diameter main chords and 3mm wall thickness. It is engineered for heavier loads and longer spans. Additionally, its extensive range of straight lengths, junctions and curved sections makes it a versatile solution for staging, lighting rigs, LED screen structures and more.
Credit Where It’s Due
Productions of this scale are a testament to the expertise, coordination and teamwork behind Australia’s live entertainment industry.
Congratulations to IJS Productions and everyone involved in bringing Gympie Music Muster 2026 to life.
While the performers take centre stage, there’s a remarkable industry working behind and above it.
