Backstage Pass 2026 is set to return to Brisbane on Thursday 21 May 2026, bringing together the technical crew, operators, freelancers, suppliers, and behind-the-scenes professionals who keep the events industry moving.
Taking place at The Jubilee Hotel, Brisbane, from 6:00pm to 10:00pm, this year’s event will run alongside ENTECH 2026 in a more focused and intentional format, with an emphasis on connection, recognition, wellbeing, and industry support.
Created to celebrate the people who so often work behind the scenes, Backstage Pass offers a chance for the technical events community to come together outside the pressure of show delivery and long working hours. The night is designed to create genuine connection across the Queensland events industry while acknowledging the contribution of the crew who make live experiences possible.
Backstage Pass 2026 will feature a relaxed and social environment, interactive activations, and opportunities for attendees to reconnect with peers, meet new faces, and enjoy a night built specifically with technical event professionals in mind.
With ENTECH drawing the industry to Brisbane that week, the timing creates a natural opportunity to continue the conversation after the show floor and bring people together in a more informal and meaningful setting.
