About the Role:
Harry The Hirer Productions is seeking full-time and casual Audio-Visual technicians to join our team at ILUMINA, a premium corporate venue in Sydney’s CBD.
This is a unique opportunity to work with industry-leading technology in a high-end, client focused environment.
You will play a key role in delivering exceptional event experiences, combining technical expertise with outstanding client service. This position is highly client facing, requiring strong communication skills and a professional approach at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver professional, in-person client service from event preparation through to execution
· Collaborate with venue managers and clients to bring event concepts to life
· Set up and pack down audio, vision and lighting systems across events
· Program and configure technical systems in line with event briefs
· Conducting regular inspections of all equipment, diagnosing faults and undertaking maintenance of gear as required
· Ensuring all events are serviced appropriately based on internal schedules
Your Skillset
· Foundational knowledge of audio, vision or lighting systems, with a willingness to learn
· Strong teamwork, professionalism and great personal presentation.
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to multitask and work under pressure
· Flexibility to work evenings and weekend as required
· Previous AV experience is advantageous but, not essential
· Knowledge of Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
