NW Group is a leading Audio-Visual Production company delivering premium event experiences at Brisbane City Hall. We’re looking for a motivated full-time Audio-Visual Operations Co-ordinator to join our team delivering seamless, high-quality events.
While this position would suit an experienced professional, we would be interested in discussing possibilities of an entry-level opportunity for the right person wanting to build a career in the events and AV industry with hands-on experience across live event delivery.
About the Role
You’ll support day-to-day operations across both planning and execution giving you exposure to logistics, rostering, equipment coordination, and on-the-ground event work.
This is a full-time position, primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility required depending on event schedules.
No two days are the same — you’ll move between desk-based tasks and assisting with the setup and pack-down of AV equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Queensland Operations Manager with daily planning
- Support scheduling, logistics, and equipment tracking
- Prepare and organise equipment for upcoming events
- Assist with loading dock / warehouse drop-offs and collections, including coordinating deliveries and pickups
- Assist with on-site setup, operation support, and pack-down
- Maintain equipment and ensure storage areas are organised
- Support and adhere to venue and company WHS policies and procedures
- General administrative and operational support
About You
- Strong interest in events, production, or the AV industry
- Reliable, proactive, and willing to learn
- Comfortable with hands-on work and manual handling
- Good organisational and time management skills
- AV event industry experience / tech skills
- Flexible when required outside standard hours (occasional early starts or late finishes)
- Team-focused with a positive attitude
