Eventide Expands H9000 Harmonizer With New Suite Of Immersive Algorithms

Eventide has expanded the H9000 Harmonizer with a new suite of algorithms for spatial audio, surround, and multichannel production, and powered by the additional processing introduced with H9000 Gen2, the update adds reverb, pitch-shifting, and upmixing algorithms for Quad, 5.1, 5.1.2, and 7.1 formats.

The update includes MicroPitch Immersive, which brings Eventide’s spatial pitch-shifting effect to the H9000. It supports up to eight channels of spatialized, detuned delays, with independent delay and pitch processing, modulation, EQ, and crossfeed controls for shaping width and movement.

Also included is Valley, a new reverb based on classic reverb architectures and adapted for multichannel production. It is available in Stereo, Quad, 5.1, and 7.1 configurations. An immersive-specific Haze control, available in Quad, 5.1, and 7.1, distributes reverb from each speaker into neighboring channels to create a more consistent soundfield.

New upmixer algorithms allow existing sources to be adapted for immersive formats, supporting Quad, 5.1, 5.1.2, and 7.1 configurations while providing control over how sound is positioned within the spatial field.

The release also adds more than 200 FX Chains and presets covering standard immersive formats, providing starting points for spatial mixing, sound design, and post-production.
