It was a balmy evening in Perth when the who’s who of the Perth Production industry gathered together to help celebrate the “Official” Opening of the Showtools International Perth Showroom and Warehouse facility.
“Due to Covid 19, we were unable to get everyone to Perth when we moved in nearly 2 years ago, but we are all open now which means that international and interstate guests were finally able to join us to celebrate,” remarks WA State Manager Sean McKernan.
Joining our customers on the night were international guests from GLP – German Light Products and Le Mark Group along with Showtools International Management to meet customers and celebrate the success of our flagship Showroom and Warehouse.
Udo and Tanya Kuenzler the founders of German Light Products made the long trek south for the first time and ended their 2 week Aussie road trip in Perth for the opening.
Joining Udo and Tanya was our adopted GLP brother Soren Storm who could not contain his excitement for a party in Perth and to catch up with customers.
“It is always so much fun in Perth and the customers are fantastic here, I always feel so welcome whenever Im here, it makes it hard to leave,” says Soren.
Also heading to Australia for the first time, especially for the opening party was Anete Muciniece from the Le Mark Group in the UK who supply Le Mark Tapes, Dirty Rigger and Le Mark flooring to us. Anete had a great time chatting to customers who have been rapidly converting over to Le Mark tapes about the benefits of their products.
“Thank you so much for such a warm welcome in Perth and great time in Australia. I loved every minute of my trip and I feel honoured to meet you all and your lovely customers. You are doing a great job and it has been a pleasure to work with Showtools. You have a great team!” Anete commented.
Showtools International Managing Director Robert Runko addressed the crowd and reiterated his commitment to providing a resource and service to Perth customers that they have not experienced before in Perth.
“Perth has always been a growth market for us and having an amazing base for our operations in Perth means that not only can we stock the products our customers need when they need them but also supply the highest level of service and technical support thru the stewardship of Sean McKernan on the ground in WA,” Robert explained. “We are proud and excited by how fast we have been able to build the Perth facility and customer base, customers were looking for a change and they have certainly been happy with that change if the turnout tonight is anything to go by.”
The festivities were enjoyed by all with food and drink flowing freely into the early hours, and there may even have been some Karaoke from Udo and Rob to seal the friendship.
