OPPORTUNITY
SimpleMotion has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and skilled Leading Hand to join our team as Deputy Head of Production & Implementation.
The ideal candidate will possess advanced leadership skills, industry experience in one or more of the following: Fabrication, Carpentry, Building, Performing Arts production. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring the smooth, efficient, safe running of the Workshop and Projects. Reporting to the Head of Production and Implementation and the Head of Engineering.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in planning, managing and leading SimpleMotion Projects and the Workshop.
• Work with the SimpleMotion team to ensure the delivery of all Projects to the highest standards.
• Fabrication and on-site installation of Projects.
• Ensure procurement needs for Projects are being met.
PREFERRED CRITERIA
• Proven leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• High level of knowledge in OH&S Management
• Advanced Rigging Ticket.
• Drivers Licence.
• Forklift Licence.
• High level of competency in the use of electrical tools and machinery tools
• Capacity to work flexible hours, travel locally and internationally, be open to overtime hours as required.
• Ability to focus on delivering successful outcomes.
