Matt Hinde’s production company Count the Beat provided full production – sound, lighting, etc – for SmokeFest GC, the Gold Coast leg of a national competition.
Held at the Mudgeeraba Showgrounds, this 2-day event offered something for the whole family. A food, drink and entertainment festival featuring BBQ competitions, it drew over 5000 attendees.
Hinde provided three stages, an acoustic stage with Acoustic Technologies’ SS30s and SCX25 monitor, a demonstration/judging/ presentation stage and a music stage.
Acoustic Technologies CLA700A tops, CLALF3200A subs were used on either side of the main stages with one CLA top on two CLA subs as infill on either side of the main stage. AT’s SCX28A monitors were at the stage front.
