Harry the Hirer Productions is expanding its pool of experienced casual production crew in Sydney.
We are looking for skilled, reliable event professionals who can integrate quickly with our teams, work confidently on site and contribute with minimal supervision.
Our crews deliver and install production equipment for major exhibitions, corporate events, live productions and large-scale events across Sydney. This opportunity is suited to experienced crew members and technicians who take pride in their work and understand the standards expected in professional event environments.
About the role
Depending on your experience, duties may include installing, setting up and dismantling production equipment, completing event bump-ins and bump-outs, delivering and collecting equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and supporting lighting, audio, vision, staging, rigging and electrical installations.
You will be expected to work safely and efficiently as part of an experienced production team and represent Harry the Hirer Productions professionally on site.
About you
We are seeking people with practical experience in event production, exhibitions, technical services or a related field who can arrive on site ready to contribute.
You must be reliable, punctual, safety conscious, physically fit and comfortable with manual work. You will also need to work well within a team, communicate professionally, travel throughout Sydney and surrounding suburbs, and be flexible with early mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends and public holidays.
A valid White Card is essential.
Experience in lighting, audio, vision, rigging, electrical, staging, exhibition installation, event logistics, truck driving, forklift operation, crew leadership or site supervision will be highly regarded, along with any relevant licences, tickets or technical qualifications.
Applicants must have enough practical experience to work productively within an established crew with minimal coaching. This is not an entry-level position.
Availability
Harry the Hirer Productions operates 24/7 when required, so successful applicants must be available for a range of shifts. Shift frequency will vary depending on production schedules, individual skills and availability.
