Harrison Audio’s updated 32Classic Channel Strip V2 plug-in now includes native SSL 360° and UC1 integration along with new processing features and streamlined workflows.
SSL’s UC1 offers a console-style workflow, providing hands-on control of channel strip plug-ins directly from the hardware surface. With V2, users can insert the plug-in directly into their DAW and access it from the SSL 360° Plug-In Mixer without requiring the SSL 360° Link plug-in.
32Classic Channel Strip V2 introduces a dedicated 360° skin, designed specifically around the UC1 control surface. The new 360° skin additionally introduces channel fader, pan, width, solo and cut controls, providing deeper integration within the SSL 360° and UC1 ecosystem. Longtime Harrison users are equally well supported by the inclusion of a Legacy Skin, which preserves the original plug-in layout and workflow for a familiar mixing experience.
The compressor section now includes Auto-Gain to help maintain consistent output levels as compression settings are adjusted, alongside a new Compressor Mix control for parallel compression. An Emphasis Listen mode has also been added, allowing users to audition the compressor’s emphasis filter directly.
Dynamics processing has been expanded with support for external sidechain inputs, enabling external signals to control the gate, compressor or both. Dedicated sidechain monitoring options provide clear visibility of sidechain sources and processing behaviour.
