The KLOTZ CAM Distribution Box adapts SMPTE 311M hybrid cables to conventional single-mode connections. Depending on the model, ST, LC, opticalCON, or SmartBeam are available. Wherever standard fibre optic cables are used for transmission, the KLOTZ CAM Distribution Box is the ideal solution for tough outdoor broadcast applications.
It also offers the option of using existing SMPTE camera cables for alternative applications that require a robust connection. The LEMO EDW/FXW connectors comply with the ARIB, ANSI/SMPTE311M, and 304 standards and are waterproof to IP68.
The housing is made of robust black powder-coated extruded aluminium. Housing dimensions without connectors: 130 (151) x 87 x 47 mm; with connectors and dust caps: 185.00 x 87 x 47 mm. The housing can be secured with four screws using the mounting tabs located on the underside.
