Waves Audio has announced the debut of eMo IEM, a new immersive in-ear monitor mixing plugin for eMotion LV1 mixers that offers 360-degree panning for in-ear mixing without the need for external hardware or routing — set the monitors output of the LV1 mixer to “Immersive” and the performers will receive immersive monitor sound in their in-ears.
The eMo IEM provides panning control that can be controlled directly from the eMotion LV1 mixer or remotely using the Waves MyMon and MyFOH mobile/tablet apps. Performers can fine-tune their immersive mix from the stage or anywhere in the venue.
eMo IEM is powered by Waves Nx binaural technology, which recreates an immersive acoustic environment over headphones and in-ears. The DSP-efficient algorithms are designed to replicate the natural auditory experience of a real-world 3D environment, offering live performers a more comfortable in-ear sound with more realistic detail than traditional stereo monitoring.
