ABOUT THE COMPANY
Over the past few years Creative Productions Australia has become one of the leading suppliers of technical production services in Australia. With offices on the Gold Coast and in Sydney it services touring, festival and corporate clients along the East Coast of Australia and beyond.
The Company has a substantial full time team which is supported by casual and contract staff, all of work to promote the business culture that promotes team work, learning, safety and job satisfaction.
THE ROLE
The Warehouse and Stock Controller role sits at the heart of the logistics operations within the Company and reports to the National Operations Manager and is responsible for overseeing the warehouse operations and supporting the technical production staff in servicing our clients
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
The role will include the following responsibilities:
Follow and promote All Company Policies;
Maintain the WHS Policy in the warehouse;
Induct new staff in the warehouse;
Oversee and account for the equipment being prepared or returned to the factory;
Prepare and accept Inter-office transfers;
Audit the stock management process;
Receive and dispatch freight as required;
Oversee testing and tagging compliance and ensure that dispatched equipment is compliant;
Ensure warehouse-based equipment is inspected and maintained.
Maintain accountability on Driver Logs and Warehouse security access.
THE MUST HAVES
Exceptional leadership and communication skills;
The ability to think for yourself and work unsupervised;
A solid understanding of production technology with emphasis on lighting equipment, video equipment and rigging infrastructure;
Proven attention to detail;
The ability to work in a team;
A Fork Lift Licence;
A Current First Aid Certificate;
A Current Drivers Licence
