Warehouse Assistant/Technician

Part of the NEP worldwide network, Creative Technology is a leading video technology provider for concert touring, festivals, live events, television and corporate events industries with divisions in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Auckland, and worldwide.

Comprising Creative Technology and Big Picture Australia/New Zealand – both leaders in the provision of video production services – NEP Live Events aims to provide our clients with superior technical solutions and unsurpassed quality.

  • Recognition incentives
  • Rewards and Benefit programs
  • Wellness resources and discounts
  • Training platforms and resources

We are looking to recruit for warehouse assistants (x2) who have the desire to progress their career towards working in a technical role within the Live Events and Broadcast industries. While initially involving general warehouse duties for a period of time, this role will then familiarise successful applicants with our video equipment and systems inventory processes. We view this role as the first step to becoming part of our technical production crew.

Essential criteria to be a successful applicant are:

  • Drivers license
  • Self-motivation
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Willingness to learn and look for leadership and guidance
  • Career aspirations – desire to become part of the technical crew
  • Ability to demonstrate technical thinking and aptitude
  • Flexible attitude towards work hours
  • Must be reliable
  • Well presented

Desired criteria include:

  • Previous entertainment / audiovisual / TV industry experience at an entry level.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Completion of industry-related certificate or diploma (or working towards) is beneficial but not essential.

Principally based at our premises in Scoresby in Melbourne’s east, when appropriate we will also provide on-the-job training at various productions as your knowledge progresses. The technical career pathway involves industry-specific training that will also involve further licenses and accreditations where required.

This is a role with a definite career progression – if you have the drive to learn the basics and desire to work in live events and broadcasting, you will earn the opportunity to become more technically involved in Creative Technology’s provision of professional event services throughout Australia and Internationally.

If you are a self-starter and excited by the prospects this position offers, please apply now by submitting your resume and introduction letter.
