Warehouse Assistant/Coordinator

TecArt are looking for a full-time warehouse assistant/coordinator to join our team. We are one of Australia’s fastest growing pro video, photo and stage equipment retailers. For over two decades we’ve been supplying everyone from large productions, TV stations and theatres to enthusiasts and hobbyists.

We are looking for a warehouse person who thrives in a fast paced environment, is highly flexible, energetic and willing to learn. There will be a variety of packing, picking and putting away tasks. We’re looking for someone who can take charge of these, and make sure the warehouse is organised and tidy at all times.

In this role you will be required to:

  • Verify and check off incoming inventory
  • Pre-delivery of stock
  • Pick and pack orders
  • Label and organise stock
  • Assist in rolling stock takes
  • Wrapping pallets
  • Completing quality control checks
  • Heavy lifting both manual
  • Provide phone support to customers and colleagues
  • Comply with HSEMS and company policies and procedures

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Experience working in a warehouse style role
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under or without supervision
  • Attention to detail
  • Be driven to achieve results
  • A passion for efficiency
  • A demonstrated concern for high-quality customer service
  • The ability to operate in a fast-changing environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to learn the basics of our lighting, video and audio products
  • Forklift license is not required but is a plus
