Francesco Calvi has been working on the creative visuals for the 11th season of the reality television series Big Brother Australia 2014, broadcasted on the Nine Network for the last 3 months with the grand finale ending up the season last Wednesday.
The Big Brother House was located at Dreamworld on the Gold Coast Australia, which is where the live shows, hosted by Sonia Kruger, were broadcasted from every week.
Calvi was traditionally using the ArKaos Media Master Pro Software running on his custom built servers, streaming the creative visual effects and video content onto the VuePix LED Screens.
The Technical Direction Company (TDC) supplied their C14 VuePix screens for the Big Brother set. Over 180 VuePix panels were hung in the columns along the TV Studio behind the audience as well as the Big Brother eye.
This year was Calvi’s 10th season behind the Big Brother scenes and each year he has came up with fresh new looks and dynamic visuals for the live shows. “Using ArKaos Media Master Pro Software with Video Mapper gives me great flexibility for my shows”, he confirms. “Media Master has been with me now on 6 seasons of Big Brother. It’s important to be able to change images quickly and to able to manipulate them easily. I can’t imagine doing this show without it. Marco and the Arkaos team continue to improve this product which makes it an easy choice.”
The 26-year-old surfer Ryan Ginns was crowned the winner of the 11th series of Big Brother Australia last week, pocketing a $200,000 prize.
