What You’ll Do
As an Video Technician, you’ll be hands-on from prep to pack-down, creating high-impact visuals that elevate every event. You’ll lead onsite, support junior crew, and deliver excellence from console to screen.
Your responsibilities include:
- Setting up of vision equipment in both indoor and outdoor settings
- Providing technical support, including serving as a Technical Lead where required
- Video mixing, content management, and overall direction of the visual components of live events
- Conducting appropriate onsite checks of vision equipment
- Playing an active part in the selection, pre-event programming, and resetting of vision equipment for events
- Building, testing and delivery of solutions to specification using a range of LED Systems
- Providing motivation and support to junior staff, as an onsite subject matter expert in Video and LED disciplines.
- Supporting teams with the bump in and bump out of events
- Communicating effectively at all stages of production with our valued clients, ensuring that show delivery is of the highest standard

To excel in this role, you’ll bring:
- Proven end-to-end experience as a Video or LED Technician
- Strong working knowledge of LED processors, vision systems, and playback tech
- Experience leading crews and mentoring team members
- Technical fluency with ROE, Brompton, Barco, Riedel, Blackmagic (or similar)
- A collaborative, show-first mindset
- A safety-first approach and strong WHS understanding
- Qualifications in Live Production or equivalent experience (a bonus, not essential)
