Venue Technician – Lighting

About the Opportunity

Featuring innovative and environmentally sustainable design, the centre provides high quality exhibition, conference and performing arts facilities.

To help us deliver the varied events and shows, we are seeking a lighting technician who is willing to play their part to get the job done. Working in a high pressured environment on show days with tight deadlines, you must be a team player and react positively and calmly when the going gets tough! Working within a dedicated and supportive team, you will have the opportunity to sharpen your skills and continue to learn and develop.

On a typical day this role will deliver all aspects of venue lighting including creating your own designs and interpreting designs written by theatre productions and support other areas of the general Glasshouse and specific Back of House.

Remuneration and Benefits

Employment Type: Permanent, Part Time 24.5 hours per week with the opportunity for extra hours during high demand periods.

Salary (exclusive of super): Starting salary of $728.42 per week (24.5 hours) with the opportunity for competency based progression.
