Venue Technician – Audio

Part-time
Starting salary of $742.99 per week

The Glasshouse is seeking a suitably qualified individual to provide high-level audio-visual and IT technical expertise to ensure the successful implementation of theatre shows, conferences and musicals.

You will demonstrate proven experience in all aspects of audio operations, creating your own system designs and interpreting designs written by venue clients. You will have the ability to problem solve under pressure and work towards deadlines as well as manage and supervise a small team. Working knowledge of other technical systems and a class C driver’s license and a Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain) are also required. 

Desirable requirements include experience in the use of a power flying system, relevant Workcover tickets or licenses, a First Aid certificate and a relevant tertiary qualification.

Remuneration and Benefits

Employment Type: Part-Time (24.5 hours per week), Permanent

Days and Hours: Hours will be worked in the form of a 7-day roster arrangement according to the operational needs of the business with penalty rates applying for weekend hours worked.

Salary (exclusive of super): Starting salary of $742.99 per week (FTE Annual Salary $62,613.90). with the opportunity for competency-based progression.
