The Victorian Music Development Office is hiring for a new position: Music Market Venue Technician. The Venue Technician is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Music Market to ensure its safe and optimal use as the headquarters for the Victorian music industry, subject to the terms of the operation agreement.
KEY INFORMATION
Primary location: Music Market, Collingwood Yards, Units 2 and B3. 35 Johnston St, Collingwood VIC 3066
Reporting to: Music Market Manager
Working with: Music Victoria, VMDO and Music Market staff
Position type: 20 hours per week. Fixed-term contract until 31 October 2021. Additional hours if required will be paid at the standard hourly rate.
Base hourly rate: $35.00 per hour, plus superannuation. Equivalent to $69,160 per annum pro rata + superannuation.
Primary skill pool: Technical Event support and delivery (lighting, sound, video, staging) event logistics, operations and event delivery
Secondary skill pool: Operation (lighting, sound, video), and Customer Service
