About the role: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Venue Technician to be part of the Campbelltown Arts Centre team to assist in the delivery of various events and functions, as well as creating a positive environment for visitors and make a significant contribution to the future of this exciting flagship venue.
It is essential that you bring with you:
Tertiary qualifications in relevant field and/or extensive professional experience in lighting/sound/theatre or visual arts technical production or a related field.
Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service.
Extensive experience in the delivery of events varying in scale.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
Extensive experience to operate AV, sound, lighting and multimedia equipment.
Experience in development and managing stakeholder relationships and cross-industry partnerships.
Well-developed problem solving skills utilising analysis and evaluation of information.
Ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team.
In return, you will join a friendly and cohesive team environment and receive the following:
A 28 hour week (rostered 4 days per week includes a Saturday, standard hours 8.30am-4.30pm, hours may vary depending on the needs of the Arts Centre).
Weekly salary from $952.24 (pro-rata) + 9.5% Super + weekend penalties
