Mandurah Performing Arts Centre (ManPAC) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Venue Technician to join our Technical Team on a full-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with expertise in lighting, sound or staging to contribute to delivering high-quality productions and events at our renowned venue.
As a Venue Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless technical delivery of theatre and event operations. You will work closely with the Technical Team to deliver high-quality outcomes while maintaining a strong commitment to customer service and professionalism.
This role will work with local, national and international touring artists to ensure they experience a high level of satisfaction when utilising the Centre.
Key Skills and Attributes:
We are looking for a motivated individual who possesses the following qualifications and qualities:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of theatre and event operations, including staging, lighting and sound systems.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in all interactions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure, multitask and solve problems efficiently.
- A proactive approach to working both independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and a willingness to undertake a variety of tasks.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to learn new skills and approaches quickly.
- Ability to perform technical and facilities maintenance as required.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Remuneration:
