We are seeking an enthusiastic individual that is passionate about being a leader in AV in the Northern Territory. This position requires a person who is proactive, has good customer service and is driven in delivering excellence.
As a production coordinator, you will act as a point of contact for our Darwin Convention Centre clients. You will work alongside the venue manager, you will manage all aspects of technical production for the delivery of their shows.
It is a 100% hands-on role and the job will require you to have experience in Audio, Lighting, Vision, Rigging and Staging. You should have exceptional communication, computer, and problem-solving skills. You should be resourceful and organised with the ability to build rapport with clients and create a fantastic work environment for your AV team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are now seeking an experienced Leader to join our vibrant Dreamedia Team here in Darwin. You will be responsible to provide full-time AV services to an inhouse AV agreement. The different types of shows are extensive from exhibitions, gala dinners, corporate hybrid, large conferences and concerts. The venue is Darwin largest event space.
This is a permanent full-time role working predominantly during business hours; however some flexibility to work evenings and weekends will be required based on client events. Your responsibilities will include planning, coordinating and executing the technical and non-technical aspects of creative design, and production role out for our clients. It will also include crewing and assisting our head of department with inventory investment for the centre.
The person we are looking for an AV professional that enjoys bringing the technical components of an event brought to life.
