Venue Manager

Carey is currently seeking an experience Venue Manager to manage, coordinate, and maintain Carey event venues and provide technical assistance to staff, students and venue users.

About you

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • Proven knowledge of rigging, theatrical lighting and sounds systems, and digital projection including CCTV
  • Demonstrated experience as a theatre technician
  • Exposure and understanding of safe operation and maintenance of plant and equipment required in theatre production
  • Previous experience in using Microsoft Office software
  • Victorian Driver’s licence
  • Trade qualification relevant to technical theatre production (highly desired)
  • Rigging/Elevated Working Platform Ticket (or willingness to obtain)
  • First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

This role is required to maintain a flexible schedule as duties will be required out of usual business hours including evenings, nights and weekends.

A valid Employee Working With Children Check is a requirement of employment in this position.
