Venue Head of Department Lighting HMT, Perth

The Perth Theatre Trust (the Trust) is a statutory authority established and constituted under the Perth Theatre Trust Act 1979 to oversee the management and operation of theatres vested or leased to the Trust by the State Government.

The Trust is responsible for the care, control, management, maintenance, operation and improvement of theatres under its control which currently includes the Albany Entertainment Centre, His Majesty’s Theatre, Subiaco Arts Centre and State Theatre Centre of WA.

It operates as a portfolio organisation in the Culture and Arts Portfolio.

Conditions
His Majesty’s Theatre is currently establishing a pool of suitable candidates for casual, full time and part time fixed term appointments for the Venue Head of Department Lighting. Applicants deemed suitable will be placed into a pool from which casual and fixed term appointments may be made. The pool will operate until 31 December 2017.

Successful applicants may be required to work rostered hours for a 7-day week operation including evenings and weekends.

Perth, Western Australia.

Job Description
The Venue Head of Department Lighting HMT is responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operations of the lighting department. They are responsible for the timely installation, removal and maintenance of the lighting and electrical systems for all productions.
