An exciting opportunity exists for beginner to experienced enthusiastic and proactive technicians to join our technical team at some of Melbourne’s leading nightclubs. Our venues feature the highest production standards in the nightclub industry around Australia. You’ll be working alongside many Australian’s top artists including DJs from all around the world. We operate in a corporate like environments which provides a very safe, enjoyable and friendly workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating, testing, maintenance, setup and pack down of DJ, audio and lighting equipment
- Working in conjunction with the technical and events team to ensure the highest possible standards of service is provided.
- Liaising and working with DJs & performers during rehearsals, sound checks and live performances
Essential Criteria:
- Technical knowledge in DJ, audio or lighting equipment
- Experienced in the setup, operation and troubleshooting of equipment
- Ability to use effective communication skills, maintain presentation and appearance in a manner that meets a corporate environment and cooperate with venue management.
- Ability to comply with safety requirements and maintain a safe & clean working environment
- Be customer service focused, professional, highly enthusiastic and self-motivated without supervision.
- Be fit, healthy, reliable and willing to work late hours.
Complimentary Criteria:
- Knowledge and experience with MA2, Martin or Chamsys consoles
- Knowledge and experience with Digital mixing consoles
- Flexible working hours and availability
