Venue and Production Technician

Take a step towards a thrilling career journey by joining the Swan Hill Town Hall Performing Arts and Conference Centre, a landmark that stands tall in Swan Hill’s vibrant landscape. Being a powerhouse of diverse entertainment, from captivating music and theatre performances to comedy, cabaret, and dance recitals, this multi-purpose venue is in operation seven days a week.

Imagine leading a dynamic production and technical team, delivering reliable and innovative technical services to our clients and audiences. Your role will include managing lighting, sound, audio-visual setup, workplace safety, and staging services across the Swan Hill Town Hall and other Council facilities. The role offers flexible working hours tailored to the venue’s event schedule, with a requirement of weekend and evening shifts.

If you hold a qualification in technical theatre or have extensive industry experience as a venue technician, this could be your chance to shine. Please note, a successful Working with Children’s Check (employee) is required prior to commencement.

What we can offer you

This permanent full time position attracts approximately $69,716 per annum. Superannuation is paid at 14%.
