Last week the Royal Hall of Industries was brought to life with a stand up cocktail event that was hosted by Universal Music.
Gareth Stuckey of Gigpiglet engaged the Creative Productions Sydney Team to design and supply the lighting production and the LED video screens as well as a video based floor package to showcase some great talent including our Sydney Born, Alison Wonderland and Canadian singer/ songwriter Alessia Cara.
Creative’s Jeff Pavey, flew down from the Gold Coast to operate the lighting on the Hog 4 Full Boar whilst one of the artists operated off a grandMA2 light which was also part of the system. The rig consisted of 30 ROBE lighting BMFL fixtures, some being the Blades that the company recently acquired, two dozen GLP X4 Washes, Ayrton Wildbeams, Lightsky Extreme Beams and the atmospheric component was handled by two MDG Foggers.
Video production for the event saw a 7m x 4m TLC Global Tourpro 4.8mm pitch LED was as the backdrop to the stage, with a further two 5m x 3m 4.8mm pitch LED screens either side of the stage. The roll-on floor package was also built out of the 4.8mm LED Panel but using the smaller 500mm x 500mm LED tiles. Creative supplied Barco Image Pro II units for each screen and some Macbook Pro Laptops and the client brought in video camera systems and associated control for some of the artists.
With the majority of the setup completed within 7 hours from the truck doors opening, our crew worked tirelessly to deliver a flawless product to our client.
