ULA were on board to support Chameleon Touring Systems Open Day this August, presenting the latest in LED solutions!
On display were the latest in high powered LED fixtures from Robe and iLED. Also on hand, were the ever popular SGM Palco 5’s, E:Cue Fader Unit and Butler and the Le Maitre LSG machine.
Released in June of this year, the Robe RED Wash series of fixtures is based upon RED Technology (Robe Emitted Diodes) and features Luxeon Rebel LEDs. Featured at the Open Day was the RED Wash 3•192, Robe’s new powerful moving head Wash Light featuring RGBW, and utilising 192 Luxeon Rebel LEDs to produce variable optics and output comparable to a 1200 wash fixture. The REDWash 3•192 provides a rectangular light field with a narrow beam spread. Unlike often seen similar effects this fixture provides a unique and fresh approach to concert touring, TV and Event Lighting applications.
The latest release products from iLED were also on demo at the Chameleon open day, including the Pixel LED 80, ParLite 18, and the ColorBank 54. The iLED range of products offers innovative LED solutions for the production, touring, installation and architectural lighting industries, with exceptional output, precision optics and saturated full color. With the second release of the iLED range this July, these fixtures have been in high demand and are now an essential component of major rental inventories across the country.
ULA’s technical specialist, Jesse Radatti, was on hand at the Chameleon open day, and comments “It’s great to take the product out to the market. Especially innovative new products like the Robe RED Wash. This fixture attracted a lot of attention on the day, because it is a little bit different and opens up a whole range of different applications for a LED wash fixture”.
