On April 11, 2025, more than 40,000 fans filled Suncorp Stadium for the Broncos v Roosters showdown — and it wasn’t just the players lighting up the night.
Behind the scenes (and behind the one and only Shannon Noll), the Event Lighting TSUNAMI2-IP fixtures brought the energy to life — flooding the field with colour, intensity, and motion courtesy of High Impact Lighting.
Built for the big stage, the TSUNAMI2-IP delivered flawless, flicker-free performance under stadium conditions — rain, heat, and live broadcast lights alike. It’s not just a light. It’s stadium-grade atmosphere.
The TSUNAMI2-IP is a true technical powerhouse, engineered for massive output and flawless integration. With a staggering output of 72,600 Lumens and a wide 117° beam angle, it ensures every corner of the venue is covered.

The fixture boasts dual light sources: 392 x 1.5W White LEDs for the powerful strobe and 784 x 0.8W RGB 3in1 LEDs for dynamic surface effects, all controlled with detailed 28-segment strobe and 14-segment colour pixel control. Thanks to a >25KHz refresh frequency, the camera image remains completely flicker-free, making it the perfect choice for live broadcasting.
Housed in a durable, IP65-rated high-strength casting aluminium alloy, the unit is built to withstand extreme working temperatures.
“We have been impressed with their build quality and reliability. It’s great knowing event lighting is investing in IP-rated lighting fixtures which are a key part of our inventory,” said Ash Neuendorf, Manager, High Impact Lighting
