The Top Secret Gala is the premium event for the Top Secret Showcase. Top Secret is an interstate corporate event organiser and buyers famil that the Canberra Convention Bureau holds every year to showcase what Canberra has to offer in terms of venues, services and attractions.
Elite Event Technology is a Corporate Partner for this event, and there was no hire as their full production supply was 100% sponsorship.
“The client wanted to have big visuals and colour representative of what was happening with the projections on the outside of the building as part of Enlighten 2020, while at the same time, not being too over the top that we did not also showcase the building itself,” commented Darren Russell, Owner & Managing Director of EET. “As many of the images were of very wide buildings etc, including APH itself, the content had to be all custom created as did the screen ratio as none of it fit into a standard 16:9 ratio screen. We also needed to be able to show live IMAG camera and 16:9 video content as well and this was achieved by using one of our Barco E2 systems to create many different custom screen layer layouts to suit all the different requirements.”
Gear used that was particularly suited to this project included the Barco E2 System and VuePix ER4 LED screen.
Both the client, venue and the guests were very impressed, the CEO of the Canberra Convention Bureau said that what EET did was stunning and perfect for what they wanted. He also mentioned that the ACT Chief Minister also commented on how good the room looked and that the visual aspect was very impressive.
