The job…
The purpose of these positions is to provide a multi-skilled technical and production service to clients of the Redland Performing Arts Centre and the Creative Arts Unit. These services will focus predominantly on audio, lighting and AV technicians/operators. Flexibility is essential in order to undertake duties such as Duty Technician, Stage Management, Mechanist/Rigging and Production Management.
This role demands a solid knowledge of all theatre and entertainment technologies.
The applicant…
The ideal applicant will have professional experience in technical production for performing arts venues and events. The ability to be given instruction and or work from production documentation and plans, under limited supervision in a hands-on team environment in one or more venues is a must.
Mandatory criteria…
Knowledge of current theatre equipment and systems
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Current C Class Driver’s Licence
