Our Administration Centre has relocated to a brand-new state of the art facility designed to inspire innovation, creativity and collaboration. The building has been named ā€˜Yalawanyi Ganyaā€™ which means ā€œsitting/meeting placeā€ in the Gathang language of the indigenous people across the MidCoast Region.

The role & you

This exciting opportunity sits within the Growth Economic Development and Tourism section and is responsible for delivering high-quality production services for performances at the Manning Entertainment Centre and other Council venues and events.

This position will assist touring professionals and producers and local community producers to present the best possible performances for our local community. You will need to be proficient in lighting, sound, stage management and fly tower operations with the ability to support our front of house team in a variety of roles where required.

Our ideal candidate will have a high degree of self-motivation and drive, strong customer service values and broad experience in the operation of lighting and audio equipment for live performances.

The package:Ā Hourly base rate $31.87 gross per hour (Grade 5) plus 25% casual loading and superannuation.

Location:Ā This position will be based at our Manning Entertainment Centre. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.

Tenure:Ā Casual on call, Monday ā€“ Sunday roster (shifts dependent on production schedule).
