Council has an opportunity to appoint a maximum-term full time Theatre Technician Trainee to contribute to Councils success in producing theatrical, outdoor and corporate events. This traineeship opportunity is for a 1-year period to undertake a Cert III Live Production and Services and is based at the Gladstone Entertainment and Convention Centre. The employment contract will commence on Monday 7 February 2022.
Working with the GECC’s technical team, you will be supporting a wide variety of events giving you broad industry experience. You will be working on large festival events such as Luminous and Harbour Festival, as well as large scale Musical Theatre. In addition, you will be supporting corporate events, functions, concerts and Theatre productions. The experience gained working with our technical team will prepare you for any path you wish to choose within the live production industry.
