What you’ll be doing
As a Lighting Technician, you’ll play a critical role in delivering high-quality events at the Wedge Performing Arts Centre.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating and managing lighting systems for live performances and shows.
- Setting up and supporting lighting for a diverse range of events, including professional artists, local performing arts groups, comedians, school productions, and music concerts.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborating with the team to deliver professional and seamless events.
- Providing excellent customer service, even in challenging situations.
While your focus will be on lighting, you’ll also have the opportunity to work across audio and mechanical systems as part of the team.
Key Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in lighting operations and live event delivery.
- Strong knowledge of ETC systems (preferred).
- Proven ability to problem-solve and adapt under pressure.
- Availability to work after-hours and weekends.
