The Drum Theatre hosts more than 200 performances and 100,000 visitors annually.
The building is a landmark with its combination of the restored elegance of the 1890 building with striking, contemporary architecture. The entire 530 seat auditorium, stage and fly tower is encompassed in a rich red oval drum, the work of Williams Ross Architects. The theatre has been built and equipped to industry benchmark standards and has been a dream of the region’s performing arts community for many years. The Drum Theatre is seeking a suitably qualified Theatre Technician to fill a temporary part time position until October 2011.
