Join City of Moreton Bay as a Theatre Technician, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.
The Redcliffe Entertainment Centre is an exciting performing and creative arts space that caters for the cultural needs of local and regional audiences. The venue can be hired to facilitate and cater events and activities for over 400 people, 7 days a week.
As Theatre Technician, you will provide assistance to hirers to ensure their performance specifications are met. This will include:
- technical support with lighting, audio and other technical systems & operation of the systems during performances
- performing inspections of equipment & assisting with equipment maintenance to ensure lighting, audio, multi-media and project equipment remain reliable and in good working order
You will be employed on a casual basis across a 7-day roster with late night shifts. It is anticipated the hours will vary based on venue demand and the working environment.

About you
We’re looking for candidates who are experienced in audio and lighting within a theatrical production environment.
With your well developed people and relationship skills, you will have the ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with people of all levels.
