Theatre Technician

Lighthouse Theatre is looking for technical staff to help setup & operate our wide range of performances and events. Working across various disciplines including lighting, audio, staging and A/V. Our Technical Services department works to ensure the successful staging of every event regardless of size.

This position is casual and hours will be allocated according to business needs over a calendar week, and might include weekends, evenings and daytime work.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Have demonstrated knowledge or desire can capacity to learn the operation of technical equipment in any discipline (lighting, audio, staging or A/V).
  • Energetic, easygoing and able to perform well in high pressure situations.

The Benefits
This is a casual position with an hourly rate of $39.91 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) + superannuation.
