Senior School | Operational Staff

- Facilitate technical production elements in the Performing Arts Centre
About the Role
The Theatre Technician is responsible for venue maintenance in the 255-seat Tim Murray Theatre, as well as providing basic production management for specific School productions under the direction of the Head of Performing Arts. The role requires occasional work outside normal hours and on weekends as arranged with the Head of Performing Arts.
About You
You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following:
- have excellent written English and effective interpersonal communication skills
- have excellent technological literacy across a range of applications
- be experienced across a range of areas relating to technical production, with knowledge of the ETC ION and/or Soundcraft console looked on favourably
- have a minimum of three years relevant work experience, with a relevant tertiary qualification (highly desirable).
All team members at CGS are required to have:
- Appropriate qualifications
- A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
- A current National Police Check; and
- Full working rights within Australia.
