The Araluen Cultural Precinct is the major cultural facility in Central Australia. The Araluen Arts Centre, an integral component of the precinct, houses the Araluen Theatre, which is a comprehensively equipped, 500 seat, proscenium arch facility that is acclaimed for its commitment to providing a broad theatrical program to the widest possible audiences at a nationally recognised standard.
There is a vacancy for an experienced Theatre Technician to work within the technical team to facilitate technical related services across all areas of technical production. This role is hands-on, operating as a multi-skilled technician across the areas of staging, lighting, audio and audio-visual.
Demonstrated experience of working in a technical production role for a performing arts venue plus a specific knowledge of the presentation and production of a broad range of theatrical productions is essential.
