Council is seeking applications from enthusiastic motivated individuals for the following position(s).

THEATRE TECHNICIAN (Permanent)

The purpose of a Theatre Technician is to provide, implement and oversee specialist technical production services to ensure the high standard service delivery of community and professional arts activities at Griffith Regional Theatre and Art Gallery. The Theatre Technician will ensure that all activities in the facilities occur to the hirer’s specifications, safely and efficiently. The position requires liaison with a wide range of arts and community users of diverse experience and backgrounds.

Qualifications: Australian Driver Licence

Skills & Knowledge: Experience as a Technician or Stage Hand, using and carrying out maintenance of theatrical equipment and operating audio and lighting consoles

Hours of work: 38 hours per week.  (Monday – Sunday). 

Salary and conditions: Annual Salary Range $61,367.64 to $67,503.12 (Grade 9).Plus Superannuation. Time in Lieu and overtime available
