We are seeking applicants with exceptional customer service, technical and communication skills to join our dynamic team. This role plays an integral part in coordinating the technical aspects for MICCOE events. You will have a professional demeanour, strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for working with people.
In this role, you will support the Events Coordinator and Technical Manager with the successful day to day operation of the production planning, resources management and building and equipment maintenance, whilst delivery a range of services including:
• Ensure the smooth running of the technical aspects of MICCOE’s events day-to-day operation.
• To organise the rigging and setting of lighting, setting up of sound equipment, acquiring and setting up props, masking etc. on stage
• To operate sound, lighting and other effects during performances, as directed by the event hirers or Business Manager.
• To help furnish rehearsals with appropriate lighting, sound and scenery as needed.
• To carry out all duties in accordance with the MICCOE’s Health & Safety Policy and promote a culture of safety.
• To carry out, or ensure others carry out, Portable Appliance Testing (PAT, a safety measure) of equipment
The successful candidates will need to demonstrate how they meet the criteria below:
• All assigned tasks completed professionally and on time
• Regular and systematic performance reporting to the Business Manager evidenced through the completion of projects within agreed timeframes

• High level of confidentiality maintained
• High level of customer service evidenced
• High level of participation and commitment to team outcomes
• All liaisons carried out in a professional manner being a positive ambassador for MICCOE
